Pitkin County | Enterprise GIS Maps & More

In 2014, DDS assisted Pitkin County in deploying ArcGIS Enterprise and adding functionality to their web mapping capabilities utilizing VertiGIS Studio. DDS assisted with managing and hosting the County’s GIS data as part of the functionality. DDS also created workflows to guide users through complex tasks that allow users to zoom into features using multiple methods, create detailed parcel reports, data extraction workflow, and mailing lists that notify all property owners within a specified user distance minus the selected parcel.  

DDS has been assisting Pitkin County in migrating their ArcGIS Enterprise from internally hosted servers to a Microsoft Azure tenant and upgrading to the latest version of ArcGIS Enterprise. Pitkin County has also started onboarding various departments into Portal for ArcGIS and expects to complete the deployment of their new production environment in the summer of 2023.
