Toggle Geocortex Menu Components JavaScript Library

Denver, CO USA – 2016-04-05 – The Digital Data Services, Inc. (DDS) team is pleased to announce the release of Toggle Geocortex Menu Components. This free JavaScript library for the Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 adds the ability to disable or enable menu and toolbar items within the Geocortex Viewer for HTML5.

Using Geocortex Workflows, menu and toolbar items can be disabled or enabled based on user credentials or interaction. Examples include disabling Export functionality from Results Menu for anonymous users, disabling and enabling toolbars based on user roles, or any other use that comes to mind. This library only disables or enables menu and toolbar items that are pre-configured within the Geocortex Site, it does not dynamically add new menu and toolbar items.

About Us:

We work with our clients to provide customized solutions to address their data challenges. We are looking to add a dedicated software and web developer to our team. You need to be able to think outside the box and create the tools and processes to provide the appropriate solution to the problem supplied. If you like challenges, we would like to talk to you.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain a variety of Python data scrapers for internal and client projects.

- Create and manage client facing implementations.

- Create new features/scripts/applications under the direction of a senior team member.

Requirements:

- Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and time-management skills.

- Demonstrated Python scripting (experience with data scraping and Flask preferred)

- Strong oral and written communication skills.

- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

- Willingness to explore new subject matters.

- Ability to follow instructions and provide constructive input.

Experience and/or interest in the following areas:

- Programming in .NET (C# or VB). WPF experience a bonus.

- HTML, CSS, XML, Ajax, JavaScript, JQuery, etc.

- Relational database systems such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, SQLite, Access

- Geographic information systems (GIS)
